#1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with a new heart-wrenching love story.

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

5 Star Review

This book was remarkable!!  Colleen Hoover knows how to weave words magically!  Hands down, one if the best books I've read this year...if not ever!!

Tate is girl who is looking to crash with her brother, Corbin, while she furthers her medical career. She isn't looking for anything more than to study, work, and spend some free time with her brother.  What she never expected to find was a handsome man drunk as a skunk outside her brothers door.

Miles is a man with some deep dark secrets.  Ones he won't share with anyone...well anyone who isn't involved with them.  He has kept himself pretty much a hermit. All he does is fly (he's a pilot), hang with Corbin, and keep to himself.  He doesn't date, he doesn't make friends...he just exists.  That is until the morning he wakes up from a drunken stuper on his buddies couch and finds his life will never be the same!

Miles and Tate have chemistry that can't be ignored. The fireworks between them, are monumentally explosive.  However, will the secrets that Miles is unwilling to share...drive Tate away, damn the consequences??

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover, hand my emotions all over the place.  I laughed, I cried, I felt joy, and sorrow.  It had everything I love on a romance book...the emotional roller coaster ride.  I enjoyed how the POV were written with Tate and the present day, and with Miles in the past. This was a fantastic read, and I'm sure any romance or Cohort fan will love it, because love isn't always beautiful, sometimes is down right ugly.

Where to start while writing this review, I'll tell you what I'm not going to do.  I'm not going to repeat they synopsis which is wonderfully written in its own right.  I'm going to give many earned praises to Colleen Hoover.

I have been a huge fan of her righting since she introduced me poetry in Slammed and I've continued this love affair of her writing style. But, let me tell you, Ugly Love will go down as my favorite book of hers.  It had everything I could ever ask for in a book.  There was romance, intrigue, lost love, found love and finally tears.

I was so proud of myself while reading that I had kept them at bay and I'll be damned if at 92% everything just snowballed and I couldn't hold them back anymore.  A sign of a great book for me is when I close the cover, close my eyes to go to sleep and all I can think about is what happened to the characters I just fell in love with after the author typed the dreaded....THE END. Well, Colleen rest assure that tonight I will be dreaming of Miles and Tate and where they are today.

Thank you for bringing them into my life and for the words that will forever be etched into my mind.  I want to jump on a jet plane and look in the captains seat and see if by chance it's my Miles and tell him "It's going to be ok",  or possibly find my Tate at the local hospital and hug her neck for all she endured from Miles. Again, Job Well Done..keep writing the books that leave dreams in our heads long after we read THE END.
